Tomorrow (or the day after)I will be posting the Portuguese version of the Europe Accessibility article. In the meantime, i'd love to get some feedback on the English version. Any thoughts?

Web accessibility is one of the most important and discussed topics of today's Internet. Everyone has an opinion about it. There are laws about it. Portugal was the first European country to regulate accessibility issues. Read more about it in "Web accessibility in Europe - The Portuguese case", my article on the subject.
[PT] A acessibilidade na Web é um dos tópicos mais importantes e discutidos da Internet de hoje. Toda a gente tem uma opinião sobre o assunto. Existem leis sobre o assunto. Portugal foi o primeiro país europeu a regular assuntos de acessibilidade. Neste momento está disponível a versão inglesa do artigo "Acessibilidade Web na Europa - O caso português". Para a semana publicarei a versão em Português.

Cabumm... My brand new 80Gb IBM hard drive seems to have decided to stop working. Some work has been lost. I've cursed enough, so I'll get back to business.

There are no words. A year ago, on Sept 10, I landed in Lisbon, comming back
from a conference in San Francisco. A few hours before, in New York, I had
commented to the man sitting next to me on the plane how I loved the city
and its magnificent skyline.
The day after, as I drove to work after lunch listening to the news, I couldn't believe my ears. At times it seems like I still can't. There are no words. Remember.
[PT] Não há palavras. Há um ano no dia 10 de Setembro, aterrei em Lisboa, regressado de uma conferência em São Francisco. Algumas horas antes, em Nova Iorque, tinha comentado com o homem sentado ao meu lado no avião, o quanto gostava da cidade e da sua vista magífica.
No dia seguinte, enquanto conduzia para o trabalho depois do almoço e ouvia as noticias, não conseguia acreditar no que ouvia. Por vezes ainda parece que não consigo. Não há palavras.

Netscape has lauched version 7.0 of its browser. From what I've seen so far, it lives up to the promise of being much faster than the previous versions. And, am I mistaken or does it even beat IE 6.0? Go and upgrade your browser!
Do you like Berlin? I do. I spent New Years there. The first group of pics I took are now available in, imagine that, the photos section.
[PT] A Netscape lançou a versão 7.0 do seu browser. Do que pude ver até agora, parece cumprir a promessa de ser bem mais rápido que as versões anteriores. E, estarei enganado ou é mais rapido ainda que o IE 6.0? Vão e actualizem os vossos browsers!
Gostam de Berlim? Eu gosto. Passei lá o ultimo fim-de-ano. O primeiro grupo de fotos que tirei estão disponíveis na área de Fotos.

I'm stunned. Did you know that electronic games are forbidden in Greece since July? And that this law also applies to foreign citizens? Can you imagine being on holiday in Greece and, for the simple fact of having a mobile phone with a few games (that you are unable to delete), you risk a prision sentence and a fine of up to 75000 Euro? Is there no limit to stupidity, even in the midst of the European Union? One of these days we'll see the comeback of witch burners. Scaring. Thanks Eric for making me notice.
[PT] Estou siderado. Sabiam que os jogos electrónicos são ilegais na Grécia desde Julho? E que esta lei se aplica também aos cidadãos estrangeiros? Já imaginaram umas férias na Grécia e, apenas por terem um telemóvel que tem alguns jogos (que além do mais são impossíveis de apagar), se arriscam a ser presos ou multados até 75000 Euros? Será que a parvoíce não tem limites, em plena União Europeia? Qualquer dia estão de volta os autos de fé. Assustador.

I'm currently current reading "Eric Meyer on CSS", a fantastic book filled with useful tips and everyday examples. If you're serious about learning CSS, this is a great one to own. The companion Web site is also a very useful resource.
