What it is

pedromendes.com is my personal website, where I share my work, my experience in various issues regarding the Web (Standards, Accessibility, Usability, among others), and also what I like to do for fun (namely take photos and travel).

The goal here is to create a site that will bring Portuguese speaking designers and developers an online resource.
The content will be bilingual, so than everyone can take part.

Hopefully, you will find some useful information.

How it was built

I have for some time been a fierce supporter of Web standards. This is the way to do it. So, this site is written in XHTML 1.1 and CSS. I've tried to keep graphics to a minimum (except the photo area) to save bandwith... nahh, it's mainly because I'm not that good with Photoshop... nahh, I'm just kidding.
